Today, 14th June, 2012 - The School Management of the D. B. M. S. English School felicitated their ICSE & ISC - 2012 Batch students for their excellence better performance in the board examinations.
73 Students of ISC Batch were honoured for securing single points i.e. based on English + Best three subjects. In ICSE - 2012 - 38 students who secured upto 10 Points including all subjects were awarded scholarships for free education in classes XI & XII and were presented gifts.
Two students: Arnab Bhowmick and Projjal Kundu of I.S.C.Batch - 2012 of Science Stream secured 97% and were the School Topper. Both of them were honoured with a Silver Medallion, Merit Certificate, Congratulatory Card and a Gift. Vipul Mayank of I.S.C. Batch - 2012 of Science Stream was the second school topper with 96.25%. He was honoured with a Silver Medallion Merit Certificate, Congratulatory Card and a Gift. Varun Varma - Science student of I.S.C. Batch - 2012 was the third school topper with 95.75%. He was honoured with a Silver Medallion, Merit Certificate, Congratulatory Card and a Gift. Abhishek Shandily for securing 95.25%, Ayush Agrawal -94.75, Avishek Kumar Mishra - 94.75 and Sharmee Biswas - 94.5 of ISC Batch - Science Stream students were honoured with a Silver Medallion, Merit Certificate, Congratulatory Card and a Gift.
Two students: Soumya and Bhagyashree Mukherjee - Science stream students of ICSE - Batch - 2012 were the school toppers with 97%. Both of them were honoured with a Silver Medallion, Merit Certificate, Congratulatory Card and a Gift. Both of them have been granted Scholarship for their further studies in our school.
Altogether 73 Students of ISC Batch - 2012 were Single Pointers. Out of 73 Students - 8 of them secured 95% and above for which they were honoured with Silver Medallion and the rest 42 students who secured upto 7 Points i.e. English plus best three subjects were honoured with a Cash Award of Rs. 500/- each, Congratulatory Card and a gift and 23 students were presented Congratulatory Cards and gifts. The following students of ISC Batch 2012 were honoured for equaling the record marks in the following subjects:
1. Arnab Bhowmick - Equaling Record Marks In Comp. Sc. - 100%: Rs. 300.
2. Projjal Kundu - Equaling Record Marks In Mathematics - 100%: Rs. 300.
3. Projjal Kundu - Equaling Record Marks In Physics - 99%: Rs. 300.
38 students of ICSE Batch 2012 who have secured upto 10 Points taking into account all seven subjects were given a gift and granted scholarship for free education in Std. XI and Std. XII.
Members of the Management: Mrs. Lalitha Chandrashekhar, Jt. Chairperson; Mr. B. Chandrashekhar, Jt. Chairperson; Mrs. Hema Raghavan - Secretary; Mrs. Lakshmi Varadharajan - Treasurer; Mrs. Rajani Shekhar - Principal, Mr. P. K. Sahu - Vice-Principal and Co-ordinators honoured the students. The programme was witnessed by all senior teachers and students of Std. VI to XII so that they would be motivated to perform well in their education. This year 6 of our students, including the previous batch, got into IIT.
