Nukkad Natak: Anmol Jeevan

On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day - D. B. M. S. English School students had performed a “Nukkad Natak” titled  “Anmol Jeevan” which was in Hindi, as part of the awareness programme. This was conducted in the school’s morning assembly where students of Std. VI to XII witnessed it. Nine Students from Std. VIII and IX took part in this natak. The aim of the play was to bring awareness among the parents and students that life is precious. They showed how the aspiration of youngsters  are being overlooked by parents and the parents want them to only study and become what they want them to be. Through this natak the students showed that if parents understand the problems of their children and sit and talk with them then children will not take any drastic steps. This conflict between parents and children sometimes leads them to commit suicide and this should be stopped.

Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, Principal appreciated the efforts of the organisation “JEEVAN” for their continuous effort for bringing awareness about suicide prevention among the people of Jamshedpur and also admired the efforts of students and teachers for putting up a good show.
