The Interact Club of D.B.M.S. English School organized the Polio Mukti Jagran Mashal Rally on 27th Sept. 2012 as a part of initiative taken by the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur. The Rally started from School and was led by the Principal, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, (Principal), Mr. Pramod Dubey, Member of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur, Mrs. Varsha Chand, Member of the Rotary Club and the Moderators of Interact Club of D.B.M.S. English School – Mrs. Shyamala Srinivasan and Ms. Harpreet Kaur. The students of Std. IX to XII took part in the rally went to Dhatkidih Basti Area, to generate awareness about polio eradication. There was a nukkad natak put up by the students during the rally. There were slogans chanted during the rally. Students carried placards and banners to bring awareness regarding Polio.
