D. B. M. S. English School today organised three competitions on the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. As many as 100 students participated. Painting competition was held for students of Class IV & V. Written quiz contest based on Swami vivekananda’s life was conducted for the students of Std. VI & VII. An essay writing contest was organised for the students of Std. VIII & IX on the topic given “India of Swami Vivekananda’s Dream’.
In the morning assembly, three students of Std. III, V and XII were dressed as Swami Vivekananda and spoke for a minute.
The following students were actively involved in the organising the same along with the School Activity Co-ordinator, Mrs. Renu Arora: Soumya, Navaneetha Varier and Bhagyashree Mukherjee of Std. XII.
At the end, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, Principal appreciated the students for their keen interest in taking part in the various events organised on this occasion. Principal also appreciated the efforts of the organisers.
