It was ‘Twilight Fiesta’ at D. B. M. S. English School premises on 20th and 21st January 2015. Taking cue from Shakespeare’s ‘Let music be thy food of love’ the budding stars of kindergarten played on. The inaugural lamp was lit by the members of the School Managing Committee and the Principal.
The little ones of KG-I ushered in ‘Happy Times’ as they, along with their parents, clapped to ‘when you are happy and you know clap your hands’. Creativity and thinking out of the box was the mantra of KG-II as they grooved to’Bam bam bole’.
Cartoon characters and popular Bollywood heroes and heroines shared space as the kids of Std. I sashayed on the ramp. India danced as one as Std. II showcased the folk dances of different states. Std. III students envoked Tagore and paid a tribute to the Noble Laureate through their performance of the dance drama ‘TasherDesh’.
All the students got the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of their parents. It was a humble effort on the part of the little ones to show their love and gratitude towards their parents. The parents gave a thumbs up to the show. The Principal and the Management appreciated the effort put in by the students and teachers.
