The D. B. M. S. English School hosted the 24th Inter School Seuli Seal Memorial Quiz Contest on 27th January, 2015. This quiz is held every year in loving memory of Seuli, a student of our school, whom we tragically lost on 3rd March, 1989.
The Quiz Masters for the day were Mr. Aditya Tyagi, Management Trainee, Tata Steel and Mr. Anirudh Dey, Management Trainee, Tata Steel. 20 schools participated in the preliminary round where their knowledge was tested over a wide spectrum.
The six schools who qualified for the final round were:
- Sacred Heart Convent School.
- Jamshedpur Public School.
- Loyola School.
- Little Flower School.
- Carmel Junior College.
- D. B. M. S. English School.
The quiz was informative as well as enjoyable for both the participants and the audience. The children were quizzed on a wide array of subjects wherein they had to exercise their grey cells to battle for the top spot.
Loyola School emerged as the winner in a closely fought contest. Sacred Heart Convent School came 2nd followed by Jamshedpur Public School in the 3rd position.
