Cash Award for Students

121 students from Std 7 to 12 who scored 90% and above in a particular subject in all the three terms in the previous Academic Year, were given a Cash Award of Rs 200/- per subject, in a special assembly held on 29th June 2016.

Thank You Thursday

The primary section and middle school celebrates the importance of values, and shows gratitude to their parents, teachers, friends, helpers in the school, van drivers etc, by saying thank you. 3 students and 1 teacher say thank you to a person of their choice in the morning assembly every Thursday.

Golden Jubilee Programme: 21st to 23rd December, 2015.

D. B. M. S. English School completed 50 glorious years of its existence in the Steel City of Jamshedpur. A 3 days grand celebration was held in the school on 21st, 22nd and 23rd December, 2015. A momentous occasion in its history. It saw one of the founder members, Mrs. Bhanumathi Neelakantan, the architect of the school's glorious existence, spear heading and co-ordinating all the arrangements.

Kiddies BonanzaSteel city cradlers put up one of their best shows at ‘Kiddies Bonanza’ organized by the DBMS English School on 7th November, 2015 for the students of the primary level i.e. KG 1 to Std.3.  Various on stage and off stage events were held simultaneously.  The musical band of the participating schools rocked the stage and enthralled the crowd with their electrifying performance. 

The Antakshari was a battle of melodious tunes. DBMS English School returned home with the first prize in their Kitty.

Golden Jubilee Teachers' FestThe D.B.M.S. English School was buzzing with sound, colour and sweet aroma on 3rd October, 2015 as Teachers’ Fest was organized as a part of the Golden Jubilee Celebration.  

The Jyoti Club of D. B. M. S. English School organised the Jyoti Inter School English Extempore 2015 on Tuesday, 30th of June, 2015 at school auditorium. 19 renowned schools of the city took part in the contest which comprised two categories - High School and Plus Two Category.
