Earth Day 2014
The D. B. M. S. English School celebrated “Earth Day” on 22nd April, 2014 to spread the message to protect the Earth by protecting the environment. The Primary and Middle School students spoke on the importance of protecting the Earth. They spread their message through slogans and chants.
The High School students put up a Nukkad Natak to make the children aware of Reuse, Recycle and Reduce.

150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda
D. B. M. S. English School today organised three competitions on the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. As many as 100 students participated. Painting competition was held for students of Class IV & V. Written quiz contest based on Swami vivekananda’s life was conducted for the students of Std. VI & VII. An essay writing contest was organised for the students of Std. VIII & IX on the topic given “India of Swami Vivekananda’s Dream’.
ISA Project: National Symbols Fancy Dress Competition
The D.B.M.S. English School has embarked on the ISA Certification journey once again beginning with the primary section on National Symbols. This gave them a glimpse of the National Symbols of their own country as well as their partner countries - Bhutan, China, Nepal, Spain, and Wales. The little ones of KG-II showcased their talent through a Fancy Dress competition. The KG-II A students dressed up as National Animals hopping on the stage while the National Birds from the KG-II C flew across to capture the judge’s attention. KG-II D students flaunted the national costumes of their partner countries while the KG-II B students were not far behind to showcase their talent through the emblematic representation while the national flowers from KG-II E swayed to spread their sweet fragrance on the stage.
Inter School Desh Bhakti Geet Competition
When Independence Day draws near can patriotic songs be far behind? Patriotic Songs can never take a backseat in the month of August. On 10th August, the Jyoti Club of D. B. M. S. English School hosted the Inter School Desh Bhakti Geet Competition to spread the spirit of nationalism. Twelve local cradles participated in this event. The spirit of nationalism rented the air as the twelve member choir from each school sang with fervor and tapped their feet to the patriotic tunes.
Father Jaison Joshua, the Jyoti Co-ordinator graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Father along with the Principal of D. B. M. S. English School, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar lighted the inaugural lamp.
