What a spectacular class is our X ‘A’,
Where each student is great in his/her own way.
Versatility is its key word,
Though, I must admit, certain elements are quire absurd,
Let me start with the geniuses, for there are many!
They will answer all questions, if you have any.
There is Ramakrishna and also Siddharth,
Who make us wonder, how could they know of so many things on earth?
Take Mathematics and we have
Abir and Anirban, are often ready with the answers,
even before the teacher has completed the sum!
Shilpi and Ramya are admirably studious,
Don’t get the wrong picture, their smiles are equally lustrous!
Talk of serious studies and there is Somit, Rashmi, Swati and Suman,
To see them buried in text books is a sight very common.
Jasvinder is really a born leader,
Yes, she is also a quizzer and a great reader
Anindya is very intelligent.
Don’t you go by his good-good face,
he can be quite belligerent!
We have another (short) Anirban and tall Sriram as our class jokers;
Anirban is very sweet—beware! Sometimes is a nose-poker.
Shrabouti is cute and quick witted too
But wait a minute—she is pretty mischievous and could cause trouble for yon!
Among our class beauties, there is Anjuman, Indrani and Tanushree;
Alter whom boys are often found on a hunting-spree;
Debashree is a painter and a true artist, Give her a brush, and wow!
She can outwit your wits!
Radrani is a singer and a painter too;
Behave well with her and she will be wonderful to you
You may occasionally spot a mischievous glint in (short) Srirain, Ganesh and Vivekanad’s eyes, But I assure you, In the core of their heart they are nice helpful, guys.
Summit with his enviable height, could prove himself smart on the ramp,
Ask Raman to pen down funny verses, and he’ll show you, he’s no less smart a chap!
No wonder X ‘A’ does not make much of a noise;
the quiet ones — Shela, Abhineeta, Sourav, Puja, have so much of calmness and poise!
Some say Parul is a Tom-boy,
Yet I know in the core of her heart, she is so soft and coy.
Vidya’s sweet nature and her serene face is really inspiring,
It would surprise you, this angel sometimes gives the others a hot firing!
Dipika and Saloni are great dancers,
Sal is a sincere student and in Maths,
Dipika seldom fails to hit a bouncer!
Kokil and Dipali are great friends and smart talkers,
To add, I must say their academics isn’t any weaker.
Rakesh is a true lover and therefore our class
It is amazing that in his Economics paper, a nine precedes the Zero!
Talk of sports and we are proud of Shahabuddin, Amita and Minanshu
They are good at cricketing, racing, volleyball and basketball too.
Many apologies for names missed talents skipped out,
You see, alter all, our X ‘A’ is quite stout.
So that dear readers is our marvelous X ‘A’
Where each student is great in his/her own way!
