The students of the Environment Club of D.B.M.S. English School participated in a rally on Saturday, 16th August, supporting Jusco’s civic campaign ‘Zimmedar Nagrik Zimmedar Shaher’.  The students carried placards urging the public to ‘say no to plastic’ as well as distributed paper bags free of cost among the shops in the nearby Dhatkidih market.  The paper bags were made by the school students and was an effort towards realizing the civic responsibilities.

The rally was flagged off by Mrs. Lalitha Chandrasekhar, Jt. Chairperson (Administration) accompanied by Mr. B. Chandrasekhar, Jt. Chairperson (Finance).  Also present on the occasion were Mrs. Hema Raghavan, Secretary of the School Managing Committee and Mrs. Lakshmi Varadrajan, Treasurer of the School Managing Committee, Mrs. Rajani Shekher, the School Principal, Mr. P.K. Sahu, the Vice Principal, the Activity Coordinator, Mrs. Renu Arora and the Environment Club Moderators, Sukhvit Gabri and Gurpreet Kaur.
