The Primary students of D.B.M.S. English School had organised Parents' Nite "Veer Purush" on Friday, 31st January, 2020. The inaugural lamp was lit by the Chairperson of the School Mrs. Bhanumathi Neelakantan along with the members of the School Managing Committee, Principal, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar and Vice-Principal, Mr. P. K. Sahu.
To commemorate 159th birth year of Rabindranath Tagore one hundred thirty students from classes KG-II to Std. III staged a dance drama, an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's popular poem "Veer Purush". The journey of Veer Purush portrayed life in Indian villages and the rich cultural heritage of Indians, through songs and dances. It has familiarised the children at a very young age to the beautiful work of the legendary Indian Nobel Laureate.
The students got the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of their parents. It was an exceptional performance with strong casting, impressive costumes and a stunning backdrop. The dance drama enthralled the audience and stole their hearts.
The Parents, Principal and the Management Members appreciated the efforts put in by the students and teachers.
