The English and Hindi Recitation / Elocution / Declamation Contest of KG-II to Standard 12 was held with great enthusiasm and zeal at DBMS English School on the 17th and 18th of November, 2022 respectively.
A child requires overall personality development and elocution competition always helps a child to enhance his / her public speaking skills. Each contestant's selection of poetry was exceptional and they tried to deliver it to the best of their ability. The oratory skills displayed by the participants were of the highest order.
The panel of judges who judged the English Elocution were the Senior English teachers; Mrs Preeti Silval from Loyola School, Mrs Marina Albert of Sacred Heart Convent School and Mrs Jasmeet Kaur Rekhi from J H Tarapore School. The Hindi elocution was judged by Senior Hindi teachers; Mrs Shobha Mishra of Kerala Public School Kadma, Mrs Nisha Jha of Narbheram Hansraj School and Mrs Rani Kumari of DBMS Kadma High School.
The prize distribution was initiated by the Chairpersons Mrs B Chandrashekhar and Mrs Lalitha Chandrashekhar, Secretary Mrs Archana Ramesh, Treasurer Mrs Lalitha Seshadri, our Principal Mrs Rajani Shekhar and Vice Principal Mr P K Sahu.
The proud parents of the contestants graced the occasion.
