The Annual Prize Night of DBMS English School for Classes VIII to XII was held on 18th April, 23 for the academic year 2022-23. Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest was Professor Kumar Alok, Assistant Professor of XLRI, Jamshedpur.
The show commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, the Patron, the Members of the Managing Committee, the Principal and the Vice Principal. This was followed by the academic procession of the rankers. Mrs. Divya Nair the High School Coordinator led the rankers of classes VIII and IX. Mrs. Manisha Bhattacharya, the Coordinator of the Plus Two Level led the rankers of class X and the Special Awardees as well as the National Players.Awardees of class XI, XII and the General Special Awardees were led by the Principal, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, and the Vice Principal, Mr P.K Sahu.
After the Prayer dance, the Principal, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar presented her report in which she mentioned the achievements of the school in varied fields of brilliance.
After the report was presented, the prizes were given away to the Special Awardees. This was followed by presenting a Memento to the Chief Guest by the Chairpersons Mr. B. Chandrashekhar and Mrs. Lalitha Chandrashekhar. This was followed by the Secretary's Report presented by the Secretary,Mrs Archana Ramesh. The rest of the awards were given away after the Secretary's Report.
Thereafter, the Head Girl, Mihika Nagelia presented the Valedictory speech. On this grand occasion, twelve teachers were also felicitated for completing twenty-five successful years At DBMS English School by the Chairpersons, Mrs. B. Chandrashekhar and Mrs. Lalitha Chandrashekhar as well as the Principal, Mrs. Rajani Shekhar.
The evening was finally concluded by the Vote of Thanks presented by Shrishti Varma which was followed by the School Anthem and the academic procession being led out.
