DBMS English School student on global stage with innovative recycling project.

J. Monish from D.B.M.S. English School was chosen to represent India at a global event. This event, called Regeneron ISEF 2024, is considered the biggest science and technology competition for pre-college students worldwide. It took place in Los Angeles, California, at the city's Convention Center from May 11th to 17th.

Monish earned his spot on the Indian team through his performance at the IRIS National Fair. His project, which falls under the Environmental Engineering category, is titled "Prototypic gradient sensor for optimizing polyethylene terephthalate recycling by pultrusion." This work focuses on improving the recycling process for a common type of plastic.
