The students of DBMS English School celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September to honour and show respect to their teachers who nurture, teach and guide them with much affection and dedication.

The Members of the Management, Principal and the Vice Principal were a part of the Teachers' Day programme. The students of class XII had put up a brilliant show to felicitate their teachers. The theme selected for Teachers' Day was Retro Bellwood. The students had requested the teachers to dress up as their favourite Bollywood stars.

The programme was truly a musical journey which was thoroughly enjoyed. Students from all the classes had participated, and they had sung and danced beautifully to the tunes of Bollywood Retro. They had also put up an amazing Ramp Walk portraying all the actors and actresses of that Era. An Antakshari was conducted for the teachers to keep them engrossed and make them actively participate in the programme. A heart rendering video of all the teachers was shown.

The Chairpersons, Mrs and Mr. Chandrashekhar, sent warm greetings to the teachers.

The programme was a grand success and everyone appreciated the students for putting up such a melodious programme for the teachers. The sincere team work put behind the programme was certainly visible and the joint efforts of the Activity Co ordinators, Mrs Annu Beri and Mrs Vaishali Bannerjee and the Senate members, most commendable.
