On April 22, 2025, DBMS English School’s campus radiated with vibrant shades of green and blue as students united in celebration of Earth Day. The day’s events highlighted their shared commitment to environmental stewardship across all grades.
The morning commenced with a solemn prayer, setting a reflective tone for the day. Lavanya Parmar of Std.5 delivered a compelling speech on the importance of Earth Day and the urgent need to cherish and protect our planet.
Std. 4 students followed with a dynamic cultural performance. Dressed in nature-inspired costumes, they used song, dance, and expressive storytelling to creatively spread the message of conservation, captivating their audience with both energy and emotion.
In a meaningful gesture of environmental commitment, our Principal, Mrs.Rajni Shekhar, and the School Management Members, planted saplings across the campus, joined by enthusiastic Std. 2 students. Together, they symbolized how leadership and young minds can unite to nurture both the earth and a sustainable future.
Younger students from Std. 1 to 3 explored nature through outdoor activities and a guided nature walk. They learnt about plant life, water conservation, and cleanliness, concluding their experience by planting saplings—small yet powerful symbols of hope for the future.
Senior students led the way with a spirited awareness rally organized by the Safe Club and Eco Club, that energized the neighbourhood with calls for environmental action. Meanwhile, students from Std. 7 and 8 showcased their creativity in an inter-house, IKEBANA-inspired flower arrangement competition, impressing all with their artistry. The day ended with a collective pledge, reinforcing Earth Day as a lasting commitment to inspire change and safeguard our world.
