D.B.M.S English School hosted the 35th Inter-School Seuli Seal Memorial Quiz Contest on 7th November, 2025.
This quiz is held every year in loving memory of Seuli, a student of our school who was tragically lost on 3rd March, 1989.
The quiz master for the day was Mr. Samanway Banerjee, a national-level quiz master who has hosted more than 500 quizzes across schools, colleges, and corporate events.
The quiz was open to students of Standards V, VI, and VII. Twenty-five schools participated in the preliminary round, where their knowledge was tested across a wide range of topics. Six teams qualified for the finals:
- Loyola School
- D.B.M.S English School
- Sacred Heart Convent School
- Little Flower School
- Kerala Public School, Kadma
- SDSM School for Excellence
The quiz comprised six rounds. The participants were quizzed on a diverse array of subjects, requiring them to exercise their wits in a battle for the top spot. It was truly an infotainment event enjoyed by both the participants and the audience.
The event was graced by members of the School Management Committee, Principal Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, Vice-Principal Mr. P.K. Sahu, and Mrs. Rekha Seal, mother of the late Seuli Seal. Without her able guidance and encouragement, this quiz would not have been possible.
D.B.M.S English School emerged as the winner in a closely fought contest, securing 180 points. Little Flower School bagged the second place with 100 points, while SDSM School for Excellence secured third place with 80 points.
