The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026, under the National Youth Festival, was organized from 9th to 12th January 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
An initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, this is a nationwide clarion call for the youth of India to present their visionary ideas for Viksit Bharat 2047.
Rishit, a student of class 11A, was the only school student from Jamshedpur, to be selected among the 78-member contingent representing Jharkhand at VBYLD 2026, to present his views in the track Aatmanirbhar Bharat- Make In India, Make For The World.
He got the opportunity to interact with Mr. Prateek Jain, founder of Addverb, Ms. Shreya Arora from The Pamphlet, Mrs. Pallavi Jain Govil, Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mrs. Annapurna Devi, Union Minister of Women and Child Development, and Ms. Kritika Padode, Additional PS to Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, during the 4-day event. One of his ideas, G.A.R.U.D.A (Global Advanced Research for Unmanned and Defence Avionics) was included in the Master Presentation presented before Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, on 11th January.
