We are extremely proud to announce that DBMS English School had earned a historic invitation from the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Government of India to participate in the 77th Republic Day of India at New Delhi.
The Principal of our school, Mrs.Rajani Shekhar, the ATL In-charge Mr. Hirak Biswas, and two students, namely Jivaj Jayashis Sahoo of Std VIII and Saurabh Mishra of Std X, were invited as Special Guests of the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi* from 23rd January 2026 to 27th January 2026. About 50 selected ATL schools from all over the country had been chosen, and DBMS English School was one among them.
The Itinerary included a visit to the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, Rashtrapati Bhavan, National Science Centre, and a High Tea with Mr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science and technology. The highlight of the visit was the invitation to attend the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path as Special Guests, in the presence of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
DBMS English School is one of the first schools in the country to have established the Atal Tinkering Lab in the year 2017. Since then, our students have created hundreds of prototypes and innovative products. They have made a mark at the State, National, and International levels as Innovators.
It was an exciting meaningful interaction and collaboration with participants from other schools. Only two schools from our state Jharkhand had been selected for the visit — one is DBMS English School, and the other is from Dhanbad. The experience was enriching and fruitful.
