International Yoga Day was celebrated at DBMS English School on 21st June 2026 with great enthusiasm and vigour. Though it was a Sunday, the holiday spirit could not keep our students and teachers away from being a part of this special occasion.

Early in the morning, students and teachers, along with our dynamic Principal, Mr. P. K. Sahu, and the Members of the School Managing Committee, gathered at the New Hall to commemorate the day.

Not only the students but also some of the enthusiastic teachers showcased their yoga skills on stage in an artistic manner. Our Yoga Teacher, Mrs. Sumita Basu, guided and motivated them to put up a wonderful performance, making the celebration a grand success.

All the teachers present in the hall, along with the students, actively participated in performing Surya Namaskar and Tali Yoga. The rhythmic clapping helped stimulate acupressure points on the palms, improve blood circulation, and awaken the body's energy channels.

Overall, it was a refreshing and meaningful beginning to the day, with everyone returning home with a deeper understanding of the importance of Yoga and its role in maintaining a healthy and balanced life.

The Principal, Mr. P. K. Sahu, appreciated and thanked all the students and teachers for their energetic and inspiring performances and expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the celebration a memorable one.
